3.Application:
It is used as medicine, pesticide, and fragrance intermediates. It is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, for nitro spray painting and coating production, and as a solvent for spices and seasonings. It is also used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.

5.Storage:
1) Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse.
